Teddy Rizzo Blast Off With Infectious New Track “Gold Rush”
Nothing could get you more pumped on a boring old Thursday than a new track from none other than Sydney alt-rockers Teddy Rizzo titled “Gold Rush”. Following up from their previous singles “Lizard Queen” and “Oxygen”, it matches up to both releases and fully knocks expectations out of the park being a total and utter rock anthem that you will just cream over - yes, it’s that good!
The four-piece effortlessly showcase what they are capable of on this new release, totally smashing their way onto the local radar, and gaining more traction by the month.
There’s no denying that Teddy Rizzo know how to craft a solid, loud tune that never misses because they are always insanely catchy, have great rhythms, and just know how to captivate you.
If the starting guitar riff doesn’t have you pumped, then nothing ever will! Just in itself, that riff brings an immense amount of power and magic to it that makes up a huge portion of why the track is so great - Nathan O’Hara, we see that talent!
Three minutes of pure alt-rock that will have you addicted packed full of flavour, thunderous cymbal crashes, a sturdy bass line, and of course the powerhouse vocals. Storming into an insanely infectious chorus with a killer melody and well-written lyrics, “Gold Rush” will become stuck in your head that easily.
A massive peak in the track is the bridge section as it turns into a face melting breakdown featuring some sick as hell guitar, accompanied by intense vocals wholeheartedly snagging your attention. (If the rest of the song didn’t already do that).
Teddy Rizzo are no joke: their skill as individuals and as a band is extreme, limitless, and has me downright jealous if I’m honest. “Gold Rush” is only their third release and I’m already wanting more, and you will too!
