WATERPARKS ANNOUNCE DEBUT AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE TOUR

Today, the thrilling news comes that alt-pop band Waterparks will be hitting down under for their debut headline Aus tour in October in celebration of their brand new fifth studio album INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY which was released last week on April 14th via Fueled By Ramen. Bringing with them on all dates will be the wildly talented LIGHTS, which will be the artists first ever time in Australia.
In an article with Alternative Press, vocalist/guitarist Awsten Knight shared
“Frogs have always been one of my favorite animals. However, when I learned that frogs were seen as dirty and unclean in a biblical context, it was interesting to me that something that I saw as so good, natural and beautiful could also be seen as a bad thing through a biblical lens. Growing up in church, you’re taught that everything is so wrong and bad. I always felt like shit, so [this album] is the breakaway from that specifically.”

Waterparks are known for their insanely high-energy tracks that are infused with bold melodies, and enticing vocals. Now the three-piece are ready to embark on a new-era with these insanely good new tracks, and at this rate, nothing will stop them from taking over the world.
