THE STAMPS DROP NEW TRACK ‘SLOW BURN’

Naarm/Melbourne via Walyalup/Fremantle trio the stamps - Scarlett Graham, Rubina Bertolini and Sofia Hourani (all: she/her) - today step into a new era with their new single ‘Slow Burn’, shifting from their folk trio roots to a dynamic, indie-pop sound influenced by heroes like Lizzy McAlpine, Ryan Beatty and Role Model. Mixed by the iconic Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Florence and the Machine, Ben Howard), ‘Slow Burn’ follows their AA-side ‘Alison’ / ‘Idea Of Us’ released in August - the former a cover of Slowdive’s classic track which earned kudos from the band themselves - and is out everywhere now, stream/watch HERE.

the stamps write coming-of-age songs and have the easy equilibrium in their songwriting that comes from being friends first, bandmates second. The trio share an almost telepathic connection, able to communicate with just a sideways glance on stage or finish each other’s sentences with a loving laugh in private conversation. It’s a tight-knit, almost cosmic bond that is woven like gentle magic through each of their songs, with Sofia and Rubina adding “it’s like we’re a three legged chair, it doesn’t feel right if one of us is missing.”
