Satin Cali Drop Addictive New Track ‘Nirvana And Cheap Groceries’

Wollongong’s Satin Cali are smashing through the year, delivering yet again another quality tune ‘Nirvana and Cheap Groceries’. This new track follows on from previous releases earlier in the year ‘Hit The Wall’ and ‘Lights Out’. The five-piece are easily making themselves known in the scene with these great, fresh sounds that are truly addictive, with the infectious melody certain to get hooked in your brain. It was recorded at Sydney’s Def Wolf Studios, with producer and engineer Daniel Antix (The Dead Love, Pist Idiots) and Andrew Edgson (Matt Corby, Tia Gostelow) at Studios 301 on mastering.

Starting off with the quick guitar strums while low vocals from vocalist Zac Goluch overlay on top, instantly hooking you in before thoroughly climaxing to an unreal chorus that is by far our favourite ever. “Fuck the 21st Century, what happened to society?, the 90’s was the place for me” rings out and fills the ears of listeners as the guitars and rhythm blast into a loud, and fucking incredible explosion of indie rock goodness that takes this track to the next level. The clever and relatable lyrics serve as an anthem that will no doubt have you screaming out at any of the band's live shows.

Satin Cali have really upped their game with ‘Nirvana and Cheap Groceries’ and have delivered on a really solid track that we know is going to be in our top 10 list of the year. The band will satisfy your hunger for indie-rock music as you devour these incredible instrumentations and lyrics - so don’t wait any longer.

It has been a busy time for Satin Cali, as the band has been pounding the pavement in recent months, getting their music in front of crowds around the country. Cutting their teeth as headliners on their own East Coast tour in support of ‘Lights Out’, as well as supporting the likes of The Terrys and Coterie, has fuelled Satin Cali’s resolve, when it comes to the development of a strong show that is all their own.
