Emo Rockers Vermont Release New Single ‘Regretting Me’

From the western side of Melbourne comes melodic rock four-piece Vermont, who are thrilled to share new single ‘Regretting Me’. After dropping their self-titled debut EP in 2020, Vermont have not shied away from their taste of catchy chorus hooks, powerful vocals and sweet lead lines.

Drums slam in hard, to bring this track to life followed by a crispy bass line that breathes depth into the sound, underlying the angsty vocals, and strong storytelling through the lyrics. Sticking with their heavy roots but producing a more upbeat sound that hits hard with tackling bittersweet feelings of anger, confusion, melancholy and regret, while still providing that energy to get you dancing.

‘Regretting Me’ is solid from start to finish - it’s ability to be a dance anthem while still dealing with heavier subjects is enough to love this band, but each member really brings the heat to the track and creates sick instrumentations and vocal melodies that are hard not to have on repeat.
