Kicked-In Bickie Tin Release Fresh New Single ‘Stay’
After coming off a successful and fantastic East Coast tour to celebrate their second single, ‘High Again,’ Moree’s own Kicked-In Bickie Tin are back and better than ever with a fresh, new single ‘Stay’, which is out everywhere today. Packed with brute force instrumentation and fun energy, ‘Stay’ proves the trio has enough talent to take them to the next level. Gamilaraay front-man Shaun Mills shares: “‘Stay’ is about not being sure about what to do in life and taking your time to figure it out.”
The quick chord changes and rapid guitar strums bring this track forward, followed by the sharp and hard hits of the drums, solidifying the rhythm and making way for the potent vocal melody in the chorus that is yet again infectious as always. They have always known how to gain attention through every track they have released so far.
‘Stay’ is a three-minute wave of energy that expels a fresh uniqueness into the garage rock genre while also taking little pieces of inspiration from the likes of Hockey Dad and Skegss.
It’s extremely easy to picture the band playing far bigger stages and on festival line-ups in the future with their great attitude toward music, forever catchy, memorable tunes, and a stage presence that is more than energetic.
With multiple press features from outlets such as Triple J Unearthed and Sceanstr, as well as their music added to playlists like The Music’s Underground NSW, Vice Spotlight, Domestic La La’s Tuna Tuesdays, and The Underground Stage: New Australian Music, and even being featured on the front page of the local Moree Newspaper, it’s easy to see why we at Electric Dreams Media aren’t the only ones who are absolutely loving Kicked-In Bickie Tin.
This trio inspires fellow local bands all over the country - you don’t need to be from a major city or close to one to reach goals and get noticed. Kicked-In Bickie Tin has no plans on slowing down anytime soon, so be on the lookout for more shows followed by another single, which will lead up to their debut EP “Beauty of Friends.”
