ANDY MARTIN RELEASES SUGARY SWEET LOVE SONG ‘TOOTHACHES’
Brisbane/Meanjin based indie-pop guitarist and song-writer Andy Martin who is best known for all of his incredible work in the local music scene, has re-emerged after a long touring schedule with a brand new single titled ‘Toothaches’. This marks his first release since dropping successful debut album ‘Reverie’ in August last year, adding onto his ever growing collection of indie/folk tunes to his catalog. ‘Toothaches’ explores themes of love and shows endearment towards the artist's partner, which does so by painting the perfect visual picture through its shimmering sound, and perfect blend of indie-pop elements.

The upbeat drums, sugary guitars and groovy bass line take charge throughout, especially in the intro, hooking you in before it then slips down to a slower pace in the versus - putting full focus on the sweet as candy lyrics that will fill your heart. Finally gliding into the summery feel of the chorus that features shimmering synths and infectious vocal melodies over the top of the sugary guitar chords which is the best recipe for a perfect love song as it fully captures the warm, fuzzy feeling of being in love.
