Heterochromia Releases Sassy New Single ‘Plastic’
The indie-pop solo project Heterochromia from Sydney’s own Bree Vane has just released a brand new single ‘Plastic’ that is sassy, melodic, and unforgettable with an upbeat rhythm section that charges forth and delivers one hell of a tune that easily becomes hooked in your brain. With the versus starting off a lot softer before then kicking off with a more upbeat sound in the chorus’, it’s the perfect contrast in an indie pop track that you want and definitely need to hear.
"Plastic laments a time in my life where I was feeling very ornamental and used by various characters in my life, which served as a catalyst for the toy motif we've been playing with so far," says vocalist Bree Vane. "Plastic has a very cathartic 'f*ck you I'm a whole person' chorus that makes it a lot more positive, and it's definitely the most upbeat song we've written. I'm really excited for people to dance to this one"
Bree Vane is no stranger when it comes to the music industry. If she’s not busy taking photos of bands, she’s being creative as fuck doing graphic design work notably for Wall Of Sound with special digi-mag’s. Now she’s showcasing her music abilities through Heterochromia that is just proving she has a LOT of talent to give.
Heterochromia only debuted last year with the track ‘Baby Doll’ and has since released single ‘Kicking’ and now ‘Plastic’. With every release the artist shows her range and ability as a vocalist and to say we are impressed would definitely be an understatement.
Heading out on the Cracked Porcelain tour this July/August, Heterochromia will be hitting a handful of cities on the East Coast so don’t miss out and check out the details below while you stream ‘Plastic’ - out everywhere now!
