GRINSPOON ANNOUNCE EASY DETENTION NATIONAL TOUR
Iconic Aussie rockers Grinspoon have just announced they will be heading out on a national tour honouring two albums Easy (1999) and New Detention this October/November, with the first ever vinyl pressings for both of the albums being released come September 8th. Also going on the road with Grinspoon are punks Private Function, and Cupid & The Stupids which makes for an incredible line-up that is bound to bring you a huge night of great entertainment celebrating two of the best aus rock albums of the late 90’s/early 2000’s. It’s all kicking off at Miami Marketta Laneway on October 29th before heading to Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle, and Perth.
Lead singer Phil Jamieson is amped to bring the band’s notoriously high energy shows to a host of the country’s best live music stages. “We’re delighted to be hitting the road again later this year, I’m so enjoying putting together the set list for these shows,” says Jamieson. “We’ll be throwing in some songs we’ve never played live, believe it or not.”
