Going Swimming Are Back With Rowdy Punk Banger ‘All Dressed Up To Cry’

Surf-punk band Going Swimming have blissfully returned after a hiatus to gift us with new flaming hot single ‘All Dressed Up To Cry’ which was produced by the band and mixed by Rohan Sforcina (Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Adalita). Hailing from Melbourne, the four-piece prove to bring banging tracks to the table that will have you instantly fall in love with them.

The band talk about the inspiration behind 'All Dressed Up To Cry':

"'All Dressed Up to Cry' came about during lockdown. Like most people, it was a really difficult period (particularly down here in Melbourne), and it was only made more difficult by the breakdown of a long-term relationship. It was a pretty dark time - particularly when you lose so many outlets that keep you sane. It felt like the only thing to look forward to was dressing up for shitty awkward drinks over Zoom with your mates and doing your best to get through it."

An indie infused punk rhythm rides in and instantly grabs your attention with its prominent bass line, and growling vocals which soon break out into a blazing punk eruption that is not only fun, but loud, and rowdy as well.

Previous singles have been spun across triple j and been featured on AMRAP's most-downloaded charts, and received rotation and play from community radio stations FBi, 3RRR, PBS, SYN, Bay FM, 4ZZZ, RTR, 2XX, Edge Radio and Radio Adelaide.
