Clay J Gladstone Yet Again Release Infectious Track “Where Do Ya Want Me”

Clay J Gladstone has to be by far one of the best local bands in Sydney hands down. Track after track that they put out never disappoints and only gets better as they always leave you hungry for more. On top of this, their live performances are always so full of raw energy with a  heavy duty atmosphere - this truly proves my point about why they are the best. The five piece  were widely praised for their last single “Hate Club” which gained traction from outlets such as Hysteria Mag, Music Feeds, AAA Backstage, and New Noise Magazine to name a few while also copping a huge 49k streams on Spotify already making their 2022 a great one. With the year creeping closer to the end, the band is going out with a bang by releasing new track “Where Do Ya Want Me” along with announcing a little East Coast tour late November/early  December.

"The song is about putting up with a toxic relationship and not having the guts to call it out. Lyrically, it's sarcastic and passive-aggressive. Saying what you really feel albeit under your breath. We really wanted raw production with this one, fuck the auto-tune off (not that we're against it) and spit some realness into an over-produced world. We just wanted this to be straight-up swag rock with a touch of horniness." says lead vocalist Tim Wisbey.

Quick, and fast crashes of the drums fill your ears before slamming into an infectiously catchy up beat punk sound that presents a whole heap of energy and will definitely have the crowd at the up and coming shows bouncing off the walls with its incredible rhythm, and unapologetic lyrics. The band have always had a knack for creating short tracks that always pack a hard punch in a true punk rock fashion - “Where Ya Want Me” is no different, running for around two minutes, it is able to hook you in without a doubt and have you pumping with adrenaline.
It’s always an exciting time when Clay J Gladstone brings out a new single because you know for sure that it’s going to be a complete and utter banger, so get amongst it, and stream “Where Do Ya Want Me” now! Also, click the button below to snatch some tix up for their upcoming shows.
