SLOWDIVE RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA THIS APRIL AND MAY

Shoegaze pioneers Slowdive are returning to Australia in 2025 following their sold out 2023 tour. Kicking off in April, the dream pop pioneers will be playing in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. They’ll be taking over the country’s finest venues with support from New York’s finest Beach Fossils.

With five studio albums, countless headline tours and slots at the biggest festivals in the world under their belt, Slowdive have cemented their status as shoegaze royalty. Widely renowned for their enigmatic sound, they continue to create lush soundscapes and dreamy atmospheres with their heavy use of guitar effects and muted vocals.

Having been discovered by a new generation, they returned from a 22-year hiatus in 2017 with their monumental self-titled album. Winning Album of the Year award at the 2018 Libera Awards, Slowdive marked a new phase of the band’s legacy.

Beach Fossils (U.S.) will be heading down under as support, marking their first time performing in Australia since 2023. Known for infectious indie tracks like “Down the Line” and “Sleep Apnea”, the band are renowned for their dreamy and nostalgic sound.
