Jet City Sports Club Return With Dreamy New Single ‘Drug Store (Waste My Time)’

Last week, Sydney’s own Jet City Sports Club came through and delivered another perfect  track ‘Drug Store (Waste My Time)’ that is set to have you happily daydreaming to the blissful themes of love. Dreamy indie pop soundscapes are something that comes easy to the band and is delivered in such a way time and time again that always keeps us coming back for more. Winning the hearts of new fans last year with previous releases ‘Green Thumb’ and ‘ Feeling It All’, Jet City Sports Club are turning it up a notch and bringing their A game this year. 

“When I started writing this song, It was about always wanting more from a significant other, but it evolved into a sort of longing and desperation to be seen by someone you don't even really know. Someone who might not even know you exist yet.  You know that feeling when you have a big crush on someone from a distance and you hope that they can feel your eyes on them across the room, but it’s all just juvenile because you don’t even know if you’d like them if you really got too close? I suppose the song is about that feeling. A dream of something that isn’t and might never be.” LILLA OBRADOVIC

With pristine vocals shimmering over a prominent bass line leading you into the dreamy chorus that is an indie pop delight, hooking you straight away with its infectious melody and colourful sounds. ‘Drug Store (Waste My Time)’ is certainly a highlight of the year so far and puts Jet City Sports Club in a special place in our hearts.
