Jack River Brings The Vibes On Sophomore Album “Endless Summer”
It’s finally here! Jack River’s brand new addition to her catalogue - her second album “Endless Summer”, which just like the title embodies the true and honest feelings of summer with its dreamy melodies and real lyrics bringing you an album to escape amid all of the horror of the modern world.
Ten glorious tracks that bring the artists’ signature vocals that are sugary, and addictive over the nostalgic pop soundscapes that include elements of modern pop that worked so well and are all an incredible addition to your playlist.
‘Real Life’ gets the album started with its upbeat, dance-worthy dreamscape that totally encapsulates a good time and gets you pumped for the rest of the album.
‘Lie In The Sun’ is one of our favourites on the record, bringing forth a great, intoxicating melody underneath the strong lyrics and the sparkly vocals that mixes and leads it to become a catchy tune that we have on repeat.
The title track features the huge talent of Genesis Owusu and is honestly everything we could have dreamed of - both the artists bring their A-game with this track, their vocals matching up perfectly and creating this perfect soundscape that you can easily vibe with.
Next up is “Lucy Sea Queen” which is introduced by the soft strums of a guitar before River’s sweet vocals rush like a wave over the top reeling you in before the drum beats come into play and have you fully hooked and in love with the track. “Honey” has you drifting off to your most pleasant dreams and features some of the most pleasant soundscapes in the whole album. By this point, we are totally convinced that this is some of Jack River’s best work to date and we are so proud of everything this artist does because it is always on point.
“Lie To You”, “Nothing Has Changed”, “Paradise”, “Holy Men”, and “Stranger's Dream” make up the second half of the album, with Paradise being our all time favourite track so far this year from any artist.
Jack River is a truly fantastic Australian artist that has a lot to give and we love seeing her grow as an artist and shine with every release. At Electric Dreams Media, we cannot recommend this album enough. Definitely check it out and make sure to give the artist a whole lot of love as always!
