Indie Artist Stefan West Delivers Track ‘Take What You Need’

Indie artist Stefan West, who is based out of Geelong has today, introduced to the world his brand new single ‘Take What You Need’ which is a total heartfelt tune that features themes of the human experience. The artist is a master at blending indie, alt-rock, and pop rock pieces together to produce an incredible sound that not only captivates listeners, but has them always coming back for more. 

The loud crashing of drums get this track kick started as it becomes filled to the brim with a mixture of guitar strums, licks, and riffs all sporadically placed. While the vocals start to flow with strong emotive lyrics over the top of the well-rounded rhythm of bass in such a way you can’t forget them. 

“This song was actually written whilst working a trade job around 3 years ago in the beginning of covid. I remember climbing up and down a ladder to voice note different lines of the verse. I then fleshed the song out further with Aaron Schembri, before going in to record it with Chris at the end of 2021.” – Stefan West
