VOIID DROP DEBUT ALBUM WATERING DEAD FLOWERS

Watering Dead Flowers is the brand new body of work from Brisbane/Meanjin punk-rock band VOIID which features some of the band's best work to date. A thirteen track LP that was recorded back in 2021 at Birthday Boy Studios by Matt Cochran and overflows with the band's utterly raw and rigid sound that we all appreciate from the four piece.

Previous singles “Free Kitten”, “Lexapro”, and “And So Two” have received nothing but love from many music outlets and fans which got a lot of people very excited for the rest of the album.

Watering Dead Flowers was written as a love letter to each other to put on display for the whole world to hear and highlights a hefty chunk of some references from their memories and stories together. Guitarist Kate McGuire says “This is what we sound like when we jam. The raw guitars, nothing flashy - it feels good.”

You can catch the band on tour in June to celebrate this huge release, and make sure you stream the new album because it really is extraordinary.
