Emo Rock Duo Upsetter Drop Two Debut Tracks

Debuting not one but two sorrowful new tracks is Brisbane emo rock duo Upsetter as they smash their way onto the scene with ‘Blossom’ and ‘Hate Me’ - two unbelievable pieces of work that are bound to make you become an instant fan.
‘Blossom’ takes no time and gets straight into it as a wave of guitars, drums, and unreal vocals crash into your ears and creates a dynamic sound that is unlike any other. It takes on blooming elements that seriously hit you in the feels big time with lyrics ‘watching you blossom while I can’t even grow’.

"I’ve spent many years of my life stuck in a cycle where I’d be comparing myself outwardly to others, instead of reflecting inwardly and finding satisfaction in my own journey," explains vocalist and songwriter Jasper Webb. "Blossom is a song about longing for personal growth, and wanting yourself to be ready to move onwards and outwards, although you feel you don’t yet have the space."

"Hate Me is a song about regret, about the feedback cycle of self loathing, and finding safety in things that are bad to think. It’s about the extent of habitually thinking bad things about yourself, because if you think it first you can’t be shocked by others feeling, thinking or saying it. It’s a song about folly."

Upsetter is made up of established audio engineers Emily Hopley and Jasper Webb. They infuse their remarkable talents together to make some heart wrenching, emotional music that has a lot of raw energy.
Check the duo out on socials and give their tracks a big warm welcome.
