DRASTIC PARK RELEASE NEW SINGLE  ‘FREEFALL’ AND ANNOUNCE  COMPOUND FRACTURE TOUR

Melbourne pop punk band Drastic Park have released Freefall, the second single from their new EP Compound Fracture, out independently on September 20. Produced by Alan Day (Four Year Strong), engineered by Declan White (Thornhill) and mastered by Jay Maas (Defeater, State Champs), Freefall showcases Drastic Park at their best, writing catchy, melodic pop punk anthems while adding in heavy breakdowns for a little spice.

On Freefall the band states.
"Freefall is about the guilt of enjoying the touring life, while leaving a loved one behind. It is about finding the balance between what is truly important and what you do for fun. It’s about learning to come down from cloud 9 and getting your head out of the clouds. Specifically, Freefall was inspired by when we drove up to Sydney to play a show. After we got off stage, we found out that John’s son had been attacked by a dog, splitting his lip in two, and needed urgent surgery. We drove down immediately that night, enduring the 9 hours to see him before he went into surgery.”
