A Swift Farewell Return With Heartfelt Single “Sorry”

Sydney pop punk band A Swift Farewell have returned with a rebuilt line-up and an incredible new release that is beyond a banger. “Sorry” is a track that will have you shouting the lyrics as loud as you can and have you instantly in love with the band. With moving vocals from guitarist turned vocalist Ryo Sprott, sturdy guitars from Sarah Bonnet, and dominant drums from Dwayne Morris, together the trio form a powerhouse that will truly become unstoppable. A Swift Farewell are gearing up and have their sites set on huge things this year with plenty of more releases to come in 2023.

"'Sorry” explores a time where I felt like every negative situation I was in was caused by me. Relationships falling apart, band members leaving, etc., I felt like I was responsible for other people's feelings and for making them leave me. The line 'Held you too close / I squeezed your life away' was written about an ex who broke up with me. At the time, I thought that it was my fault because I had cared too much, tried too hard and had suffocated them instead of giving them space. I found out later it wasn't the reason they had left." Vocalist Ryo explains.
